Impact On Our Community
Safe Spaces
The Baltimore Ravens Boys & Girls Club at Hilton Recreation Center represents Torrey and Chanel Smith’s deep commitment to West Baltimore. LEVEL82 played a central role in reopening the long-shuttered Hilton Recreation Center at 2950 Phelps Lane. With support from the Ravens, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Baltimore, Baltimore City Recreation and Parks, Green Street Academy, and local partners, the center underwent a complete transformation. Today, it serves as a vibrant hub where hundreds of children ages 6 to 18 engage in daily youth development programs.

Youth Sports
LEVEL82 established a youth football and 7-on-7 program in West Baltimore to ensure children have access to safe and supportive athletic opportunities. Sports are used as a tool for mentorship, accountability, and character development both on and off the field. The program incorporates workshops, guest speakers, community service, and high-standard coaching to help shape future leaders. Players also gain exposure to recruiting opportunities, with several advancing to compete at the collegiate level.
Seniors Program
LEVEL82 offers programming designed to enhance the health, well-being, and independence of older adults. These services foster social connection and help seniors remain active, valued members of the community.

Tutoring and Academic Support
Academic achievement is a core priority for LEVEL82. In response to longstanding challenges faced by Baltimore City students, the organization hired teachers to provide after-school tutoring and homework assistance at Hilton Recreation Center.
The program led to measurable improvements in student performance, while also building confidence and leadership skills among young scholars.
Mental Health Support
LEVEL82 recognizes the critical role of mental health in community strength. The organization provides workshops that help youth develop strategies for navigating life’s challenges and ensures access to professional support when needed.
